Series 60 Vertical sliding unit

Description

A vertical sliding unit with a tilt-in feature to assist cleaning. Spring release catches allow each sash to tilt into the room and safety features include integral stay arms and a friction brake mechanism to prevent vertical movement in the open position. The unit is particularly suited to treating traditional sash windows with offset meeting stiles. Adjustable spiral spring balances fully support the weight of the sash up to 20Kg. Sashes have a slim 28mm wide interlock stile with optional D-pull handles and twin weatherseals. Glazing must be specified in accordance with BS6262:2005 'Codes of Practice - Glazing for Buildings'
Options include locks, trickle ventilators fitted within enlarged timber head grounds and acoustic reveal linings to head and jambs.
All fixings are concealed within the frame, which may be linked to other frames with a colour-matched aluminium mullion/transom section or purpose designed timber mullions for bay windows.

Size guidelines

Maximum sash dimensions: 1500mm wide x 1500mm high
Maximum sash area subject to 20Kg weight capacity
Minimum sash: 500mm wide x 400mm high
Sash width to height ratio should not normally exceed 3:1
