Series 55 Fixed Light unit

Description

A demountable fixed panel system designed for security applications and the ability to accept thicker glass or sealed units also allows for improved acoustic or thermal insulation. Glazing must be specified in accordance with BS6262:2005 'Codes of Practice - Glazing for Buildings'
An aluminium subframe is permanently fixed to the structure and between one and four panels (Series 50 fixed panes) can be inserted within the frame and attached by removable, concealed machine fixings. The window has been tested for resistance to blast and physical attack and, with additional steel reinforcement, ballistic attack. It is particularly suited for perimeter windows which need high level security and occasional access for maintenance.
All fixings are concealed within the frame.
