Quiet and consistent temperatures are important for scholastic success. Updating old school buildings to meet modern specifiactions requires careful installation to maintain the existing fabric.
Much of the character of old building derives from the shape of its windows. Series 10 horizontal sliding units with transom coupling and high level radiussed Series 40 fixed panels. A combination of Series 10 horizontal sliders and a high level radiussed Series 40 fixed panels unobtrusively achieves the desired performance. A larger window is uprated using a combination of Series 10 horizontal sliders and high level radiussed Series 40 fixed panels.
